Greg, my sternum is still sensitive - There are bumps where the wires are but the don't bother me unless stepped on (by my cat! She sits on my chest to wake me or to sleep when she finds me asleep). Wonder if the sternum will always be sensitive. My surgery was 3/2000. Can't address the other problems, tho.

Thanks for the feedback on the soreness and tiredness issue. I have discussed it in the past. I guess I will keep track of it and try not to let it bum me out. I'm still going walking tomorrow darn it!!! Hi to Johnny. I haven't posted because of all the stuff I've been doing. I really miss everybody; however, I am sure everyone understands when a member takes a hiatus to focus on a major life issue. Once again, I thank everyone who has posted and I recommend the site to people all the time. This is a site for survivors and folks who want to move on with their lives. I tell my patients that I have been involved in a support group and I recommend it for them as I (as a psychologist) cannot give them what they need when they want it. I am only seeing them for a 45 minutes session and we all know that a serious condition requires more than 45 minutes.

Best to everyone and spread the word of health. Tell your friends about your surgeries. Advise smokers and overeaters to modify their lifestyles so that they can live longer. All of us have a mission to use our experiences to help others and that goes beyond postings!

Be well all.....

Hi Sylvia

Hi Sylvia

It was so nice to read your post. I'm doing fine. I just get tired. I am loving the exercise though. I believe you have a daughter who is at Tulane (correct?). Let me know. I enjoyed communicating with you in the past and it is great to hear from you. I hope both you and Joey are doing great.

Truly,
