Your definately in the right place. Everyone here has experience galore, so any questions you may have, please feel free to ask away.

It's better to post them here then to go back and forth with emails. It is a learning experience for the new comers to be able to see how people are helped and what to expect.

Hello from the Sunny Isle of Wight, England,
Just to say my new Carbomedics Aortic Valve is doing ok and I start at the gymn this week. Read my story.
Also to let Ross know that I'm also sporting my brand new Medic-Alert bracelet, just in case I get found in the gutter bleeding! They'll know I'm on the Warfarin!

My husband has had 3 valve surgeries. His aortic, a mechanical was done 25 years ago, and still clicking along. He also has a mitral mechanical and had a small leak repaired on that one.
