Newbie to the club!
I have had the test now and it is confirmed AVR. I meet with the surgeons on Tue. and suspect everything to progress quickly from here.

If you do a SEARCH (see Blue Line at top of page) for "Questions" you will find links to lists of Questions other members asked their surgeons.

Did you get a copy of your Test Results? If not, that is a good thing to do.

Is your Aortic Valve stenotic?
Do you have a Bicuspid Aortic Valve? (See BAV and CTD Forum if so).

Where are you planning on having your surgery?

Whatever you have, it's highly likely someone here on VR.com had / has the same thing. Feel free to ask any questions that come to mind.

Hello and welcome. YOu have found the best forum for heart valve related quesitons on the web. There is a lot of information here and many caring people that are about to go through the process and whom already have.
