Hi I KNOW the ones with the chest bands are better, BUT since I'm getting Justin to be willing to wear one of the wrist only ones, I'll take what I can. Can anyone recomend a good wrist heart monitor? Thanks

Recently I googled: Heart rate monitor watch strapless.....
and I believe that Amazon.com had several for sale.
You can also Google-- Consumer Reviews for these.
Mio makes several models and I was also interested in the Timex.

Thanks, I never really was concerned about his HR even when he was playing sports ect, but he just started that PX90, so I suggested he email his card and aks if he had any advice(instead of me) , and he actually did email him..baby steps

I've been looking around a little and found some monitors are Hybrids, where you can use or not use the chest straps. I'm thinking this might be the way to go, since he could usually just use the watch part, but still has the option of using the band once in a while to get the more detailed data. SOOOO does anyone have any recs for hybrids, I've found reebok and bowflex but I'm sure some of the other companies make them.

Just a quick note that the wrist monitors are not all that reliable, and I'm not really sure they would be worth it.
