I purchased a "heart hugger" for my surgery on August 4th. I didn't need it much, but found it to be much more effective than just clutching a pillow, (I did some of that as well!). I always put it on over my normal clothing. I am done with it and would like to give it to someone in a position to use it.

I will gladly mail it to the first person who sends a request for it. I don't like to store things, and it seems like a shame to toss it. Don't be bashful, just let me know where to send it, and the tape that comes with it.

Don't toss it! Someone surely will want it. It's been a while, but more and more people are hearing about them.

Hugger

The Heart Hugger has a new home. I am glad it will be put to use.

As far as what is: For more details you could Google it and see a short movie. Basically it is an apparatus that wraps around the chest & gives a lot of support if you cough or sneeze. I would grab for it if I felt the need to cough etc. I used a heart pillow as well, especially if I had very little warning. But in terms of reducing pain, I found the hugger to be twice as effective.
