Michaelena

Well, the time is almost here, admission is set for 9 AM, 7/24/05. I will try to log on later tonight, but I had a some time and just wanted to thank all my valver friends for their support, suggestions, and welcomed opinions to all my questions.

As I climb this mountain, (the second time), I find that my situation could be worse; for you folks that have been through so many surgeries, and are waiting for the next shoe to drop, you are my heros, little Katie has been an inspiration, what a little fighter, good for you Katie. I will miss reading her updates and pray that it is smooth sailing ahead for her and her parents, (Mary I put the sailing in for you, I know you are partial to swimming).

My husband will post an update, (cath is 7/25, surgery 7/26), he promised!
I will look forward to sharing the details as soon as possible.

All prayers and positive energy gladly accepted.

Until the next time....
Michaelena

Best wishes, Michaelena for a clean cath, a successful operation and an uneventful recovery. We will all be watching and waiting for good posts from your husband.

Good luck, hope all goes well and quickly, and that you'll be home by this time next week.

special prayers going for you. We will wait right here by the computer for news. Have a SUCCESSFUL trek up the mountain. Avoid that Mack truck, hear? Blessins... and GODSPEED!

Michaelena,

I see you on a beautiful beach, walking towards a calm sea; swimming effortlessly towards the far shore.
We'll be waiting word of your adventure.
God Bless and God Speed,
Mary

Tomorrow is my seven month mark post-op, so I well remember the night before going to the hospital. My wife and I will pray for you. I sensed God's presence so clearly as I was prepped for surgery. I trust you will have the blessing.

All fingers crossed!

All fingers crossed!

I know how you feel about doing it again, but at least you now know what to expect and how far you can go during the recovery period. I'll have my fourth mitral valve replacement within a couple of years, and having VR to help me through this long pre surgery period has made all the difference. Try to remain as calm as you can. I'll say many special prayers for you! Take care,
Débora

*chuckles devilishy*

And, if he doesn't post, well, that's for us to know and your husband to find out ;).

Seriously, though, thoughts/prayers coming your way.
