Hey everyone I received my date today for avr. Am going in on the 26th of July and have my pre admission date for the 25th of July. I have decided on the On-X valve just hope it is the right one. Now just looking forward to getting this over and done with. Best wishes to all Brad.

Is that a typo for July 15? Do you mean the 25th, or is there that great a time lag between preadmission and surgery?

Did you put the date on the calendar? If not, I will.

Just think, you won't have a very long wait. That's a good thing!

Brad, I well remember that feeling of wanting it DONE! Even though it has now been almost two years ago I can still bring back that time in my mind. I wasn't so much nervous as impatient. In the hospital the night before I kept watching the clock and it seemed to be going so slow!

Waiting really is the hardest! July 26th will soon be here!

Good luck, prayers and positive thoughts are sent your way. I do believe your surgery will be before mine, (AVR & TVR) on the 26th of July, based on the time difference. I will look forward to your post surgery reports, may both of ours be positive experiences.
