Wow, a 9 cm aneurysm of the ascending aorta! Mine was dangerously high at 5.5 on day of surgery. This is a story with a happy ending. Glad that the surgeon was able to save her life. We are all blessed by such modern medical miracles.

Wow what a good story and the interesting thing is I went in because of stomach problems also when they did a ct scan and found mine. I wonder why the stomach gives us trouble? But of course my doctors said it was not related to the heart problem! HAHAHAH BULL here it is!!!! I knew it now I want to know why! must research this more!!!!

Wow, thats huge! Mine was 8 cms on the day of surgery and until now was the largest I had ever heard of. The surgeon said it was held in place by scar tissue and that was why it hadn't yet burst.
I hope this lady will be able to be monitored for INR!
