I feel revived after our long cold winter here in the Rocky Mountains - the sun is shining and it is warm and the tulips and crocus are JUST coming up. Remember we live at 7700 feet so we are a bit behind in the spring department up here. HOWEVER, all that said, we will still be waiting for a couple more spring snows (at least!).

Hope everyone has a blessed and happy Easter filled with good folks, good fun, and good food. With the temperature dancing about 95 degrees here in sunny Tempe, Arizona, I'm beginning to wonder about my decision to cook in the oven. Hubby says, make picnic food...potato salad, etc. I like the idea of eating out!!! Happy Easter to all.

We're going out to eat (at Longhorns I think - not a big Easter place, but my mother-in-law really likes it).

Our daughter Jessica (my inherited daughter by marriage) lives in Conyers and has been to Lake Lanier, so my wife perked up when I read that to her. Jessica says it's a very popular place. Hope you have a wonderful Easter weekend.

Granddaughters soccer games tomorrow will take up most of the day and then its to the grocery store and home to make up Easter Baskets(I already mailed the ones to Tenn.) Sunday is church and we are cooking out and having our Easter Egg Hunt afterwards. Oh yes, I have to stuff all the plastic eggs sometime tomorrow,too.

Thank you and Happy Easter to you too!! Today, Good Friday, we're having a family gathering at my mum's who lives just next door and on Sunday Robert and I are taking Bruna to church before we get something to eat. She's 9 now and has finally caught on the Easter Bunny thing, Santa and the Tooth Fairy as well, but she still wants us to hide her eggs instead of just handing them to her. Wendy will also have something in NZ waiting for her so that she can say that she's also had chocolate from there. My trip's mow down to single figures, only 9 days to go!!!!!!!!! I'm getting more excited than I've been since I met Robert for the first time back in 1984. By the way, it's our wedding aniversary this Monday but with all the expenses involved in going to NZ I doubt we'll be doing anything special. Have a great time and see you around, and even while I'm away you'll still here from me!! Wendy does have a computer too!!! LOL!!

Have a Happy Easter! Bonnie call and make sure your campground is open. About a month ago I was reading in the newspaper that some of the corporate engineer parks are not opening this year do to budget cuts. The day park that we always go to is only open a few days of the week. I plan on planting flowers this weekend and fixing an Easter brunch.
