Happy Birthday you two!

Have a great day and do somethings that I can't do. I hope you have many more in the years ahead.

Happy Birthday, Gail - I ate some cake for you last night. Sure was good. I knew I was celebrating something - and now I know what it was.

Thank You all so much for the well wishes. I had a wonderful birthday. We went to Thomas Coyne winery and did a bit of tasting , then to Pleasanton's Main St. where we found a nice Italian restaurant with out door seating, ( we had our fox terrier with us). It will be 3 yrs in June since my 2nd AVR, and I must say, I feel pretty good now, very uplifted today, at age (gulp) 49!

Thank you all for the birthday wishes!

I spent my birthday in Denver with my sister and family. Sunday afternoon we drove up to Echo Lake on the way to Mt. Evans, and then back into Idaho Springs for pizza at Beaujos. They were supposed to have a variety of the locally brewed Tommyknockers, but all they had was a Mine Shaft variety. So then we went next door to the Tommyknockers brew pub to sample a doppelbock. I'd only had their Maple Nut Brown before, which is excellent.

Up at Echo Lake, my neices decided to climb the rocks to get a better view of Mt. Evans. I was very curious about the SOB posts about high altitudes, so I joined them for the climb at 10,000 feet. I didn't notice any problems with the thinness of the air, although I did consume a lot more water than usual on the Denver trip.
