Hi, everyone, ant thank you ever so much for all your wishes. As usual, those of us whose birthdays fall near holidays often are elsewhere on "the day" and I didn't have time to check in and thank everyone until today. I wasn't able to check in over the weekend, with family activities, then came back to work and a very full calendar.
Trying to get back to normal now, and I really do appreciate all the wishes. You have all been a wonderful extended family for me these last few years since I learned that I have a valve "issue." I don't know how I would have dealt with it without all the support and iformation you have shared.
I will keep The Waiting Room is order for as long as they will let me. So far, all I'm feeling is a really gradual reduction in my exercise tolerance. I'm still working 50+ hours/week (office job) and jogging 4 miles/day -- just a bit slower on the treadmill. My cardio says that I can continue, for now, so I will. Next echo is in January, and who knows?
Again, thank you, one and all. You continue to make my birthdays (and all the other days, too) memorable.
