Thank You Dave, Mary, Ross, GeeBee, Cort and Sherry!
I have had a wonderful birthday weekend! Started out with going to a concert in Elgin with a friend of mine to see the Bodeans Friday night! Great Concert! We had dinner first at a German restaurant which had fantastic food.
Saturday I finally broke down and bought a new vehicle. I had been looking for weeks! That was my birthday present to myself. I got a Subaru Forester Turbo. So I turned 55 years old and now I want to Hot Rod around! lol!
.
Then Saturday evening, I had dinner at another Restaurant in Crystal Lake called the Squire, with some family and my friend Carol, who some of you know. Sunday we went to The Boat in Elgin to gamble. No, I didn't win enough to pay the car off, DRATS!
I'm off today because I had to go for my INR. Only 2.5 so I'm not the happiest of campers! lol! It has stayed consisitantly at 2.5 since I started taking Warfarin back in June. When I was on the same dosages of Coumadin, I always stayed in the 3.5 range. So I am switching back to Coumadin. I really hadn't changed anything with my eating habits or exercise to have my reading to be only at 2.5. So for me, not necessarily everybody, I think I need the Coumadin, versus the Warfarin. Sorry Al, I did try to give it a shot. THe unfortunate thing is Coumadin is more expensive.
I would like to extend a Happy Birthday to the others who share my Brithday and I hope you all had a great weekend too.
Dave, Cort, we're going to miss you in Vegas. Sherry, yes, we'll see you when you get in on that Friday. Hope you got those special B-day rates for Samstown! We'll have to celebrate Saturday night! Thanks again everyone!
