H1N1/Swine Flu on Warfarin?

It was reported this morning that Melbourne now has 5 people in ICU because of the swine flu. One of them has been reported as having a pre existing health condition but not sure about the other four. It is a real worry just how prevalent it is becoming around here. They are predicting that one in five people in Melbourne will end up having it.

No I got the date wrong, sorry. For some reason 1912 sticks in my mind, not 1918.

Just found out that someone in our church has Swine Flu. Looks like it is inevitable that someone in my family will get it - if not me.... Oh well - if I get it I can be the guinea pig and let you know what effect it and Tamiflu has on INR

Right now, it may not be a real concern, but come fall??????? We just might be in a really bad situation.

It is certainly scarey the way it is spreading here so quickly. They are saying that people aged 30-50 are in the most danger from it for some reason. Hopefully by the time it gets to you there will be a vaccine available.....

See this is what's troubling. They are developing a vaccine for THIS strain, but what if it evolves into the real terror? There won't be enough time to develop one for it.
