Hello VR friends,

Dan and I have been on board a cruise ship in the Mediterranean for the last nine days. Internet access has been a bit tough, so I haven't been able to post. I hope everyone is well.

I've been wondering where you'd run off to, Jim. This week, with Hurricane Earl moving up the Atlantic coast, I've really been wondering how you are faring. I'm glad to know all is well.

Mt. Etna on Sicily...with a venting of gases in progress! We went 6,000 feet up on the side to view extinct craters.

A view of Jerusalem. We stopped briefly enroute to the Dead Sea and Masada.

One of our favorite cruises was out of Pireaus. I would have posted 'smooth sailing' wishes sooner but we just returned from a cruise and I only now saw your post. Hope you had (are having) a wonderful time. Judging from your gorgeous photos, sure looks outstanding!
