I had an echo on 6/27/13 to check my aortic bovine pericardial valve done on 12/3/2002. The office called saying everything is OK, good news. I have been having a few palpitations, so doc having me wear a holter moniter on 7/8/13 for 24 hrs.

Congrats on the news. It's always good when they tell you...."everything is OK". I, too, have recently had palpatations/a-fib......may be stress related(dealing with cable-internet changeover), old age, or ? and my cardio had me wear a holter(first time ever) for 24 hours. Returned it yesterday and I guess I'll hear from him next week to find out if it was a temporary event or something I will need to deal with.

That is great news! Hannah's cardio had her wear a holter at 2 yrs post op. She said she will have her do it every once in a while just to get a better look. It definitely takes longer than you would think to get the results, but they did tell us if they saw anything troubling the dr is notified right away.

I hope both of you get good results. Even us non heart patients get palpitations every once in a while, so hopefully it's nothing to worry about. Keep us posted!

Good news for Hannah too...she had her almost 3 yr check and dr says everything looks great! Every other problem in my life goes away when I hear those sweet words! Feeling very blessed!

I hope everyone is enjoying their holiday!

Crossfire and dick0236,

If you don't mind me asking how did your holter results turn out?
I have been thinking of you both.
