I am so glad you were able to get some additional information from your cardio's nurse. I completely agree with what Karlynn has said, if you were worrying that much you needed to get some information to help ease your mind or at least know where things stand. From what you have written it sounds like everything looks really good for you. I would definitely try not to worry too much more about it. Following up with a different cardio may be a good idea for you. If I had docs I couldn't talk to I don't know what I would do. I guess I would just keep searching until I found the right one for me. My last cardio was great. Shortly after my surgery I had an echo done and everything was fine but it indicated that I had a trivial mitral leak. I totally freaked out. I pretty much had myself worked up like you have been. It wasn't until I spoke with my cardio on the phone that I was able to put things in perspective. My cardio has just moved to another state and I will be seeing a new cardio in April. I hope that he is as easy to talk with as my last one was.
We all lean on each other here, that is what this site is all about. You lean this time and next time I may do some leaning...LOL!!! I'm always worrying about things too. Just to let you know how much of a worrier I am, I had my first full panic attack the other night. It is the first time in years. I have had anxiety issues but haven't had a full blown attack. I really think a little bit of worrying along with some hormones thrown in there just set me reeling....LOL!
Every few months or so I seem to really have some hormonal swings.
I just want you to know that you are not alone. You just need to rest up emotionally and then get started on adopting that beautiful baby. You will make a wonderful Mommy!
