Congrat's to the Sox and all their fans. Was a good series and was fun to watch. Nice to have a championship in Chicago.

Now we'll see if Reisndorf has changed his ways and does what ever it takes to keep Konerko and Pierzynski or if he let's it fall apart. WARNING ... if you see a little fella by the name of Jerry Krause appear out of no where; RUN!

What a night!

I was thinking we were going to be seeing another several innings. Backe was stellar. Astros played a heck of a series, even though the 4-0 sweep doesn't tell the tail. Konerko will cost a bundle to keep - let's hope the glow of victory puts Jerry in a generous mood. Everyone is pretty dumbstruck with the naming of Jermaine Dye as MVP - Crede, IMHO (and many others) was the obvious choice. He had 4 incredible games. Dye made a few key moves, but Crede was on 110% of the time, in EVERY game.

I am not much of a sports fan but, when I heard this morning that the White Sox had won, I thought of all the Chicago area members and how excited you must be.
Congrats to the windy city. This has been long overdue and a long time coming. Enjoy.

Dawn, the 4-0 sweep doesn't tell how well the Astros played. It certainly wasn't a "gimme" World Series. Astros have nothing to be ashamed of, particularly Backe with his pitiching in game 4.

Mary - don't know where my head was at. Crede is from Jeff City. I knew he was and when I just reread the posts I went where the heck did I come up with St. Jo. It's that premenopausal brain freezing.
