Jen just wanted to say good luck on your surgery I'm sure you'll be well taken care of where you're going. I agree 100 percent this forum has helped me tremendously through my surgery. Take care and I'll pray for a speedy recovery!

You will do well. Be sure to let us know or have someone else let us know how you are doing.

Also, tune in for recovery support as your mitral valve is healing. It will help to be able to assess any wierd things that happen during recovery (and they will) with the experiences of others. It helps take some of the panic away. You'd be surprised how little the cardiologists and surgeons are actually exposed to what their clients go through once they get home.
