Ok, so we are set for tomorrow. Ann is the only one i've heard from recently and know for sure is coming. Anyone need my phone number or directions or whatever let me know.

All, as much as I would love to get down the road to ATL this weekend, it doesn't appear to be in the cards for me. My husband has been way too busy at work and I haven't seen him at all (I know, pull out the violins!) and he's going to be traveling this upcoming week as well, so the only time I have to see him will be Saturday night. Will have to make it next time. Hope you guys have a great time together and that next time more of us are able to get together.

I personally won't be able to do breakfast, and i don't know if anyone else is planning that as it seems there won't be any out of towners attending.

sorry if the others can't come, but we will have opened the door for future meets. And we will enjoy tonight. We are leaving home from Newnan area about 4 to get there about 5. With lots of walking perhaps involved, we are bringing a wheelchair for me because I can't walk far so you can find me that way. Might not wear the VR sweat shirt - might be too warm.

just back from dinner with Ryan, his lovely wife, Cleo and their beautiful 20 month old twins - boy Benjamin and girl Emaline. A very fine family and so nice. Wish y'all could've joined us for the visit and the meal. How good it is to have met another VR member. We had a most enjoyable visit and want to do it again and have more prep time so that others in the area can come. If we set it up with plenty of ahead notice we can have reunions often. We will want all folks locally and nearby to check in so we can set up a group. Let us know what you think.

I have pictures and want to put them here but I can't find my thingy cord. In moving in, I put it somewhere so it could be easly found and not lost, but I can't recall where that is. I will look tomorrow.

Oh my goodness, Danny ... you're right. That meet'n'greet was FIVE YEARS ago now, August 2005. Holy cow....time sure flies.

Sorry to sound rude, but who are the other two men in the picture? Bubba is on the far right, then there's Cort. I don't think that's Mr. Chimp in the black Tee or in the white Tee Shirt.

Bubba and I were the only 2 from VR. The other 2 gentleman are friends of mine from other groups/message boards. Here is the shot I have of that gathering:

I still keep in touch with all of them, in some way or another. In fact, during my trip southeast 2 years after that, the aforementioned November 2007 journey during which I met Ann and saw Mary again, I stayed with Brian and his family while I was in Atlanta:

Sorry we couldn't make it this time. I'll watch for the NEXT one. We had our Pig Fest that week-end in town. It is the one big function the town puts on each year. My sister came down (from Atlanta) so we felt we needed to stay in town.
