Just to let everyone know Gary came thru his aortic aneurysm/and new valve with flying colors!!!!! This was #3 and the quickest 1 day recovery so far. Yesterday was the big day - it took 8 hours - it took so long because he had lots of scar tissue. 8pm last nite he was in ICU, off the vent this morning, ate breakfast and is now already in step down. I cannot believe he is sittiing up, talking - looks fantastic!!!!
thank you all for your prayers!!! I am on the computer in the lounge so I cant type alot. Will keep you posted
Thank you again,
Christine ( I still cant believe it is over I am smiling at everyone passing me in the hall!)

That's great news, Chris- how did he escape being on the calendar?? Please tell him that we wish him the easiest of recoveries and remember to take care of yourself as well.

Fantastic!!

I am so, so happy for you both. Number three is very scary, and having to wait that long time in the waiting room. Wow.

Just the greatest news. Congratulations.

Chris,

So very happy to hear this news. I hope the rest of his recovery is as easy.

Be sure and take care of you, too.

Great News!

Great News!

Chris,
I knew Gary would do well, but I started worrying yesterday afternoon.
So glad to hear he is doing fine. :)

Wonderful news! Don't get too upset if some temporary setbacks show up, as this is major surgery, but it sounds good from here. And he's certainly past the big hurdle. Keep looking forward, and please let him know we've been thinking of him.

Best wishes,

So glad to hear he did well, and I can just visualize your big grin as you typed your message. Tell him to keep up the good work, be a patient patient (something I had a hard time with!) and welcome to the "other side"!

Hooray, hooray!

Hooray, hooray!

Best wishes for continued success and rapid recovery!!

:D Marguerite

I'm so pleased to hear that Gary did well and is feeling ok. Now, try to get a good rest as he'll really need your help for the first couple of weeks back home. Keep the good news coming and tell him Débora from Brazil said HELLO!!
