Forums Display Order

Like Karlynn and Marguerite, I go first to 'new posts'. That automatically picks up where I left off last time I visited. I asked for emails (in my user cp) of any thread I have posted to so it comes directly to my inbox and I can then go to VR and reply if I so choose, or wait til later. Saves time, when I don't have the time to actually go into the site just then.

I don't have any problems with changes made. As Les says, we will find it. I still learn new stuff all the time in maneuvering VR site. (heck, I just learned how to 'reply with quote' and I've been a member for 5 years). Everyone should play with it from time to time to see what's new and what's old and learn about it all - or not.

Thanks for all the time and effort you put into the site, Ross. Hank, too.

I think the order is just fine, but wouldn't NEW ADVANCEMENTS look better right below VALVE SELECTION? No big deal, really! I go through every forum one by one anyway. Thanks for everything, Ross.

Being a seasoned member, I tend to just click "new posts" which accesses all the different forums at the one time anyway (..as many of you will already know..). However, for the new members the new layout is very logical - and they're not going to know any different!

Ross - have people seriously gotten upset about these changes..?!!!!! If that's the biggest thing they have in life to get upset about, then I for one am jealous!!

That's a real good sign they're running low on things to stress out about.

Some people will complain even when there is nothing to complain about. If they don't have the nerve to post it in the forum....... well, I won't tell you what I think they should do with it.

It's still a little disorganized, but it's better then before I think. Over the years, forums have been added and nothing done with the order. If you look at just about every forum out here, you'll see the site mission forums are first and their versions of our small talk are at the bottom or very close to it. I just can't seem to work this to make it any better then it is, which is why I asked for opinions. I thank all of you.
