My 3 dogs were vet-checked yesterday and prescribed their Sentinal for flea control.

Capstar is not = to Sentinel. It's designed to kill existing fleas within 30 minutes; it does not provide long-lasting protection. Sentinel protects against heartworms.
Sentinel is not Rxed for use in cats.

Lance is it advantage or frontline? The advantage for cats comes in a small vial that you apply on their neck where they can't reach it. there is a new pill they use. we took our 5 animals in all at the same time for shots. asked for their advantage and frontline. only carry the pills now! I ordered the liquid advantage and liquid Frontline via online. dang expensive. I only medicate one cat and it takes care of our problem for the other three. daughter has a new shihtzupoo who's way smaller than Miss Sally Sue so had to get her own. I don't medicate every month, just when I see the first flea. problem solved. wonderful without fleas!
