Five years after MV repair

Five years ago today I had my mitral valve repair surgery. I had been mostly lurking and learning for months previously. When I made it out of the waiting room and knew surgery was imminent, I posted about being "deeply freaked out" and got lots of support and encouragement from the community here. Special thanks to @honeybunny, who reached out to me and made me feel cared for, and to everyone else who helped in one way or another. Today I'm 100% healthy and feeling great. Thank you all.
