Fibe, welcome back. Glad everything went well. Let's kick start that recovery. As soon as you are able to take small walks, take as many as you can and use that spirometer to rebuild the lung capacity. If you try very hard you might even get better capacity than before the surgery. You know what they say - "Practice makes perfect".

Thanks for all the lovely messages guys. Had the heart drain out yesterday (after 5 days) fingers crosed will have the lung drains our todaybut tgey still seem to be draining (50ml). Got the man made valve wrong it was manmafdr from cow. Still feel very dissy, looking forward to walks but only once I've lost my lung bucket!!

Glad to hear you're in recovery! Get some rest and start walking once the dizziness subsides. Hope the lungs drain for you. Hope your recovery goes smoothly. I look forward to tracking your progress.

Yahoo!!! From one beautiful bovine woman to another, good job. Keep getting stronger each day. Walk as much as you can, then rest and be sure to eat something even if you don't feel like. Keep us posted on your recovery. I'm mooooing for you!
