I agree Randy. Its too soon. Good luck with PT and maybe epidural.
 
Well I decided to postpone my epidural. Why? Because I was watching TV and got hooked into one of those informercials and lo and behold it was on back pain.So I watched it and found a local Doctor that has the machine in the commercial and I will try this before the epidural.Here is the site I found:

To throw in my own 2 cents:

I had a herniated lumbar disc about a year after ohs - was in agony. I saw a back specialist at the med school; he said he wouldn't do surgery or epidural injection unless I was in a wheelchair - the risk of stroke was too great. I had PT and it was fortunately successful - the PT took about 6 months.

btw: the pain from the back was much worse than ohs. I was really afraid I'd never be able to sit down comfortably again. I sure feel for anyone who lives with this.
