I may seem like a broken record, but I'll continue to give credit to my Lord and my VR.com family for a dramatic paradigm shift from victim to survivor to thriver.

A great big thank you to all of you. You are wonderful.

Hard to believe that 3 years has gone by. You are in obviously superb health now, compared to 3 years ago. It's wonderful and a testament to the reality that this surgery WORKS.

Congratulations Tom on your third year milestone. I think you're giving credit where credit is due! :)

COngratulations on your 3rd anniversary! I just passed my 4th year, and it doesn't seem like long ago I was on the way to the hospital at 4AM. It was scary for me, but I feel great! Isn't it funny how time flies? I remember that morning I almost messed up and ate a hershey kiss that my mom had bought the day before. It's nice to know that there are more people out there that have been through the same kind of surgery and the same feelings and emotions. I like coming to the site and helping others who are in the same boat as I was, and also just chatting with my cyber family! Here's to many many more years of good health!

Happy birthday to your valve!

Happy birthday to your valve!

And may it - and YOU - have many more! Hugs to a fellow TExan! J.

Thanks everyone. I think my thread title was confusing. It is actually my 2nd anniversary on VR.com (entering 3rd year - I try to look forward). Not a big deal. So, if it doesn't seem like 3 years, it's 'cause it's not!

My 5th anniversary of AVR is coming up in November. :)

Others here have been an inspiration to me. If I've passed that on through my perspiration, I am truly thankful and humbled. :D

Congrats Tom! We joined VR right about the same time. Since we are now officially in our Terrible Twos, I think we should stir up some trouble just to keep Ross on his toes! :D

Tom,

Tom,

Congratulations!!

We will be looking forward to seeing you (again) one of these years in Estes Park.

May the coming years be just as kind to you. God bless.

Karlynn, what didja have in mind?
TP his house?
Coin his doors closed?
Call him in the middle of the night? (Naw he's awake anyway :D )

Or we could be really bad and set bags of dog doodoo on fire on his stoop, ring his doorbell and run. (I've always wanted to be that bad! :D )

Hey if you did the doggie doo doo thing, I'd join that party, I've always wanted to do that! Not that we don't love you Ross!
