I just got the results of my latest echo. It was 18 months after my previous echo.

EF has gone from 55 to 45.

Max velocity has gone from 2.41 m/s to 3.4 m/s.

Mean Pressure Gradient has gone from 13.8 mmHg 30.3 mmHg.

AVA Vmax is 0.8 cm2.

Have you been sick? Is this the 3300 ? How old are you and where was the operation done? What does the surgeon / cardiologist say? I would really like to study and understand why some valves calcify faster than others. Diet genetics disease too much TV. ??

Well Greg, young age obviously a risk factor, I have also read gender (female = faster calcification) and presence of rheumatic heart disease also causing rapid calcification.
