Echo

This is probably a stupid question, but I was wondering if a cell phone being on can interfere with an echo result? I forgot I had mine on and it went off while I was having one done and the tech laughed, but didn't say to turn it off. I would guess if it was causing a problem she would have said so.

Anyone know?

not sure about the echo but i watched a program called miff busters and they took a mobile phone to hosiptal heart monitors and it didnt interfere with them at all !
i would of thought if it could interefere they would ensure that the mobile phones were turned off especially if it rang at the time that would of alerted the tech to redo if that was the case
if its really worrying you give them a call to put your mind at rest
