I am 6 weeks post op now and doing very well. Still trying to get my Warfarin regulated--but other than that--great. Prior to my surgery I asked for some advice for after surgery. Someone gave me the advice to : eat, breathe, sleep and walk--repeat. I don't remember who that was. But that was great advice. Thank you to whoever it was. :) I would like to pass that on to anyone who is looking for pre surgery advice.

Yep, that's some great advice alright. All are very important, and I'd put them in this order of importance - Breath, Walk, Sleep and then finally eat. Not sure if you can actually DO them in that order lol, but maybe I'll try tonight.

mecretired,

Thanks for posting your status, happy you are doing well, yep back to basics 101, those 4 basic functions are essential for recovery, smart Freddie and as someone mentioned earlier today, visualizing progress like next week, next month etc may be the 5th basic, as a lot of the recovery is the mind game, that we can even when it hurts a little
good on you and continued good recovery...Gil

You must be reading some of Bonnie's posts. That's what she ALWAYS said. So nice to see it again. And we know that it's great advice for us all. Hope you continue to get on well. Blessins..........

Glad to hear your doing well mecretired, and thank-you for the compliment Chris and Gil. But I can't take the credit. The eat, breath, rest and walk theory is well known advise that a very special member used to always say - I was just passing on "Grandbonnie" words - as many of us do.

Take Care
