Update for James surgery on July 12th

Update for James surgery on July 12th

Hello everyone and Thank You All So much for your prayers and well wishes, It means more than you know. I have not been on for about a week. Our family went on a mini Vacation to Oregon for our oldest son's Wedding. It was wonderful we really needed to get away and just relax. I took my cell phone and phone numbers so that I could check on things while we were away. Things were going great and I was told everything was in order and we were good to go. Until Yesturday I made my usual calls and found out that someone had waited until monday morning to put in the approval for surgery with the insurance company. So now we are down to the wire and still do not have final approval. They are telling me not to worry it will be fine. Well I am worried just can't help it. We go for pre-op in the morning,So please cross your fingers it gets done.
James is doing great. He had a wonderful time on our trip. He was thrilled to see his Big brother and brand new sister. We did a lot of research on which valve to go with if the repair is not possible. James came to us and told us that he had made his decission that he wanted to go with the mecanical valve. We wanted him to have as much input as possible we would have ultimately made the final decission, but he made the same choice that we would have made. So I guess we have to wait and see what surgery day brings and hopefully He will be able to have the repair.
Once again Thank You All For Your Support!!!!! I will update when we get back form the Hospital I am not sure when I don't know if I will have a computer.

Thanks for the update, Sharon. I am so glad that you all were able to get away and have such a good time before the surgery. Will be keeping my fingers crossed that the surgery goes on Thursday as planned and that James gets the repair and an easy and uneventful recovery. Godspeed!
