Debbie's surgery date Jan.24

Hi everyone, just got back from my surgeron appt. and the date will be on Jan. 24th. Wow I feel better now that I have a date, looking forward to not worrying about this anymore. The heart cath will be the day before and I'll stay over for the surgery the next day. I'll have my pulmonary valve replaced not sure till after the heart cath which type of valve but it will either be a homograph or porcine. I'll post more of my visit later. Debbie

Debbie....glad you have a date. I know when I got my date it was a big step and a big relief. The waiting "was" the worst for me. I'm sure all will go well

I found that it was a relief to finally have a date for when my surgery was going to happen, so I'm not surprised that you're cheerful!

You have 2 weeks to get a haircut, buy some comfortable clothes, load up your pantry and cook food for your freezer. Time flies.

Congratulations on setting the date! I am so glad that you are moving forward and getting closer to putting this all behind you and moving on with your life! You are just a week after me! I know personally speaking it is such a feeling of relief to at least have chosen your surgeon and have a date. Thankfully you don't have long to wait...the sooner the better! I have had over a month to anticipate this and it ultimately just gave me more time to be nervous so I am happy for you! Stay in touch! Hopefully you will still be able to see me while I am in CA...we're leaving in the morning for a Sunday arrival!

Thank you thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers, it's so nice to have cyber friends that know and understand what your going through because all of you have been there!! I had fun today doing what I love best, drive in my little convertable, it was 76 today and tomarrow it's to be 80!! Wow, that's why we live in So CAL.
