Love the pictures, you guys all look very happy. Wishing a smooth recovery and an October World Series in NYC just for David....and this from a Mets fan.

Beautiful family, beautiful pictures...thanks for sharing and congratulations. I felt so happy when I returned home after ten days in hospital, and I was pleasantly surprised also when I saw the 'welcome home' signs and decorations everywhere...I felt like a kid!

May David continue a speedy recovery and you all rest and enjoy your lives with his renewed health.

Wonderful. Thank you for sharing!

Hooray!!

David, ya look great!!! Keep on that healthy glow!

Best wishes.

Marguerite

Nadine, so glad you are home and what a welcome the kids had planned. There is no way you can miss from looking at the pictures how happy David is to be home and how happy you are to have him there. I hope ever day he feels a little better.

Best wishes,

Rhena

Thanks everyone for your kind words!

Thanks everyone for your kind words!

Glad you all enjoyed the photos! The signs are still on the front door and around the den although the "L" and the last "E" in the "Welcome Home" sign over the TV fell down so now it says "WE COME HOM" which works too!;) I just smile whenever I look at them.

Jim, you're right, David's scar is really nice and straight and it is healing great. The scar from the pacemaker incision is not so neat but I told him some people sew better than others. It will heal fine too but since he is so thin I'm sure that he will have a pretty big protrusion there (not really where he wants to have the big protrusion:p). Guess I better start cooking for a change;)!;) Right now it is still swollen all around but eventually it will probably show the shape of the pacemaker/defibrillator (which is about half the size of a cell phone).

Ross, I just posted pic #2 in the TOOTS forum. And as far as getting a room - unfortunately we don't have to worry about that for a while - David is still pretty stiff but not where he wants to be;)!

Nadine

Thank you for the great pictures. You have a truly lovely family and you can see the love in air. David, now get better soon (don't forget your spirometer) and Nadine you take care of yourself also. :)

Nadine,

What heartwarming pictures of you, David and the girls! I hope that every day gets a little easier for him and that you are taking good care of yourself.

Yes, I agree...a model family. :)

Best wishes to David for a smooth recovery. The pictures are great; what a nice homecoming. I think David's choice of color for the den walls is great. That's spoken by a man who loves color though!

Thanks for sharing.

Can't see them ... says I don't have permission ... has it has finally happened ?... TheChimp has been banned and declared an outcast? :confused2:

honestly I don't know , but this post was from sept 09. I couldn't get permission, when i clicked the link, but I could get to their profile page..I didn't see any picture album listed..but then again I have trouble seeing the white writing on light blue background so maybe it is still there
