Forgive me if this is in the wrong area.
I'm on coumadin, people say to drink in moderation when on it, which is 1 beer. I'm no drunk, I'm not talking about going out and getting drunk all the time. But let's say I do want to go out and have more than 1 beer? Not go out and be wild and crazy, but go watch a game at the local pub, or have a few beers on special occasions. What exactly are the dangers if I were to pursue this? I can't find much info on wether it's good or how bad it can be. My surgeon, cardiologist, family doctor all have different opinions, but really don't explain the bad that could come with it. My Cardio, his only reasoning was, well what if you get drink and don't know what's happening and hit my head, or fall downstairs, that I could than get hemmoriging, my surgeon says I don't see a problem, and my family doctor is against it. Anybody have links or information that would argue why I shouldn't be allowed to have a few drinks at a time here and there?
