All best wishes come to you and Curt from over the Pennines Paula. It would not be disloyal to seek a second opinion. You should be able to do that without either ditching or causing offence to your current Doc.

Its more of a can't be bothered starting again from scratch, it already takes us a around a hour and half to travel to manchester for his check-ups. We would have to go to a hospital further away with no gaurentee of things changing. Only 2 days to go, if we don't get a date then so be it. They say things happen for a reason, i just don't see a reason to take a 10 year old into hospital, take blood and explain all about what he as to go threw, to still be in the same boat 6 months after. Sorry for the whine.

Hope all goes well for you and your son. I know how difficult it is to wait and see what the results will show, what the dr will say, especially if there are no symptoms? Sometimes the best news is surgery, knowing it will may be time to get it over with- but it is also nice to have 6 more months before thinking about it again. Thoughts and prayers are with you.

It must be nearly Friday where you are. I hope you get some satisfactory answers and direction for the next few months that make you both comfortable.

Best wishes,

Debby
