Curt's check on friday

I'm starting to get nervous now as we go for Curt's check-up on friday. We may find out if he is having surgery or they may just fob us off with another 6month check-up. Not sure what i want at the moment, don't want him to have it done just yet but kind of feel i'm ready to get it over and done with now. Guess i'm a little , just tired of them messing us around now but don't wan't to start over from scratch with a different hospital, not all that easy in the uk.

Hi Paula, I know how you feel regarding the ''fobed off'' senario. How is Curts health at the moment ?

Hi Paula, I too understand how frustrating it is being messed about by the NHS. I seem to have battled with them most of my life one way and another, but I hope they shape up and do what's best for Curt and you. Maybe if you say on Friday that you're thinking about changing hospitals, it might make them pay more attention.

Or you could get in touch with the hospital's PALS office to put your feelings to them and see if they can shake things up for you? It's a shame but it seems with the NHS, those who make the most noise get taken more seriously.

Jacqui, he's not doing too bad but is getting SOB more often. We are always happy to wait, it is them that keep saying he needs the surgery now and then he doesn't.

Lynn, at his last check up, i wasn't happy and the consultant said that we could change to a different hospital if we wanted to but he as been with them since birth and changing hospitals might not get us any further.
