I though I could not mix both! Aspirin is an anti-inflammatory mediator in addition to its other effects on the platelets! I do not think ACT are.
I am glad to know I can take Ibuprofen, as I prefer Advil to Tylenol for headaches and colds. :)

A few years ago a study was made on two twins -- one had Alzheimer's desease, the other did not and the study showed the latter used to take lots of advil and aspirin everytime she ached which helped prevent the inflammation of nerves!!!

Yeah well if your on Coumadin, your not supposed to use Ibuprofen or Naproxen Sodium (Aleive).

You know what? I take what works. Acetaminophen doesn't do it for me, so..........

Eva, I have always been advised against taking advil & Ibuprofen. Are you sure your doctors want you taking these?

Just wanting to keep yu safe my friend! :)

Thannks, Norma. No, none of my doctors said i could. I am a bit mixed up 'pumpedhead' today. Ibuprofin is an anti-inflammatory as Aspirin is, but never took them since my surgery, nor will.

Thanks, Ross.

I was told that Aleve was okay. It has the typical warning on it but that just a CYA. The studies don't show a problem.
