Well, This Stinks....I just found out that I have ANOTHER viral infection, and I also have Bronchitis again as well....I just never could imagine that it would put me in so much pain from causing my arthritis to flare up as badly as it has...Just wanted to let you know Yaps, that I know how your feeling....I hope we both feel better soon....Harrybaby666 :D :D :D

Well Harry

Well Harry

It does make life miserable, I cant go to cardiac rehab..lol..they are afraid Im infectious..soo..I sit here and cough and cough, hate using the advair..do not like to use steroids inhaled or not..prenisone is such a nasty med...

Joe and I are both winding down from the horrible viral infection with bronchitis. It's a real nasty thing. I don't think I've had an infection quite that bad in a long, long time, neither has Joe. It's been about 2 weeks, and we're both still hacking up stuff.

My daughter and her family had it on Long Island also. I guess it's winding its way around the country.

I guess my immune system is in bad shape...

I guess my immune system is in bad shape...

I am guessing that because of the arthritis, diabetes and lung diseases not to mention the heart problems, that my immune system is at an all time low....I cannot count the amount of viral infections I have had growing up, and after a while, you get really sick (pun intended..LOL) of dealing with them. And amongst all the other stuff, it makes me wonder if they don't contribute to the heart problems...Anyway, Nancy, How long has this lasted with you and Joe? Yaps...How long have you had it? This way I can get somewhat of an idea as to how long this lasts. I hope we all start feeling better and soon!! Take Care, and thanks for the input. Harrybaby666 :D :D :D

Mine started around the middle of Dec.. could feel it

in chest ..next day I was down w/fever & sob..still not much better..love Yaps

It's been about 2 weeks since it started for Joe and I. My daughter and her children were still coughing after about a month, but she was feeling well, just remnants of the bronchitis.

My temp returned to normal about 4 days ago. It wasn't very high, just enough to indicate an infection.

So, for all intents and purposes, I guess it lasts about 3-4 weeks, before things go away completely.

I got out my juicer several days ago, and filled us both up with fresh juices, both fruits and veggies and drank a ton of water. That seemed to help a lot. Joe uses a humidifier and he felt it helped him.

Thank God, we both had the flu vaccine, or I could have sworn that this was the flu. We both had the pneumonia shot a couple of years ago. So I guess its just a viral thing, but a bad one.

So eat your veggies and fruits and stay hydrated to keep thing loose.

Hope you feel better soon.

For whatever it's worth, I think it's definitely going around. I am on a relapse of whatever this viral thing is, having first gotten it about a month ago ... and when I went to buy a thermometer at CVS yesterday, there were NONE left!!! I hope you feel better.

Thanks Gang...

Thanks Gang...

I figure then I am about a week into it then, so hopefully I will start to feel better soon, but, knowing what I am up against with the Diabetes, and Asthma and CHF...I can imagine I am in for one heck of a ride...LOLHarrybaby666

Keeping my fingers crossed for you Harry-

I've got asthma, and Joe has CHF, but this didn't bother either of those conditions. We just tried to keep all the "pipes" clear, used about a ton of Kleenex.
