The question is: Do you use bacon grease?
We were raised on bacon grease (lard) as kids and even into adulthood.
I will never use it again. I hope you will throw yours away whenever you
Fry bacon from now on. It seems as though nothing is safe to eat anymore.

This is what happens when you keep cooking with bacon grease. This is a warning, send this to everyone you care about.

Rossman. You've GOT to be kidding! Pretty hilarious photo...... some distant aunt of yours?? :p

Once in a blue moon I will take a teaspoon and dribble it into the BUTTER I use to fry my eggs (weekends only, if that). I believe there are pastries which call for bacon grease also. I'm not much of a baker, so I'm not sure which ones.

My father used to smoke a pipe. My mother would use the empty tobacco cans to pour fat and grease into and it would sit ready to be a science project in the refrigerator. Yucky. I never did that...just let it solidify in the pan and scrape it into the garbage. Can't imagine what I'd use it for.
