Bubba :)

I don't even understand this, and I thought I understood EVERYTHING that Bubba says:eek:

Since we started Weight Watchers last Monday, Cindy has lost 4 pounds and I have lost 2 pounds. Cindy is out doing me, so I better get with it ;) . Actually, we've both eaten similar things. I've been totally on plan, so I'm happy with losing 2 pounds. Good for Cindy though.

Congrats to all of the rest of you losers.

I agree with Evelyn, this is a good support group.

It's good be back and on track. After I faced my cardio and my weight, I can face anything. Now I'm feeling no pressure and enjoying what I'm eating.

We will weigh on Tuesday at WW; next Friday's post will reflect our loss as of that day.

SUPERBOB is shocked -- SHOCKED, mind you --- that the Ref and the Chimp don't understand Bubba's reference to Spin the Bottle. Clearly he means not the innocent kiss-on-the-lips version, but the more "adult" game in which the person to whom the bottle points after each spin removes an article of clothing. Bubba is referring to the spectre of "losers" who are not yet buff baring blob (much as SUPERSILLYBILLYBOB would if he were not tucked tightly into his suit with the big "S" on it.) :D :p

Now don't tell me that the Chimp and the Ref have never played the revealing form of Spin the Bottle. ;)

As for SUPERBLOB's weight, uh SUPERBOB's, he has no idea because the sawbones has told him not to put weight on his torn knee for a full month and dang if he knows how to burn calories in the prone position (wait -- don't go there, Bubba!

You mean to tell me that some people use a bottle to determine how much of their nekidness they will reveal?
Shoot, I don't need a bottle for that!;) :p :p

Bob....listen to the doctor....I know it is killing yo not to be able to get out.....If you gain a few not a worry, it will come off......

As co founder and resident SUPERHERO....the Throw Downers need you.....so thanks for sticking around:)

Thanks, Cooker, really appreciate it. However, I liked Bubba's advice better. :p :p :p

I am hiring someone to cut our grass, and I haven't tried to hike, but it's practically impossible to stay off my feet with all the chores that have to be done around here, esp in the spring. I wonder what gets better with complete rest anyway; seems to me atrophy would be likelier. If he winds up having to "scope" out the knee, I'm not sure if that wouldn't be the best outcome, despite what he says about the chances of that making the arthritis worse.

I did throw away some junk I was tempted to eat, but at the coffeehouse I had a humongous honey-raisin muffin and enjoyed every bite of it. I am not brave enough to step on the scales, however.

Thanks, Wise. And congrats to you and Cindy -- you're doing great, as are many of the stalwarts here.

Since Superbob is supposed to be brave, I did just step on the scales -- and I haven't gained any weight, so that's something. Maybe since I can't exercise much, I can do a better job of controlling what I eat -- probably ought to join WW like you all.
