"Invasion of the marshmallow peeps," LOL, Jack. Sounds like a great name for a book.

SUPERBOB weighs the same this morning as he did yesterday, which means yesterday's loss wasn't a mirage. Down 4 pounds for the week. :)

Happy Easter, everyone. SUPERBOB hopes not to scare away the Easter Bunny, and will leave EB's chocolate eggs for the grandkiddies to enjoy. :D

Okie dokie...

Last week 176
Today 175

Only a pound but I will take it! Sunday will be downright:eek: My husband is cooking pancakes and bacon for our entire church. Then in the afternoon my mom is hosting a potluck-total nightmare;) Deb

I don't remember what I weighed last week, but I'm betting it was less than today. :( I'm going to blame it on the fact that I'm on Spring Break and our internet has been down since Tuesday (a friend is letting me bum off of his wireless today). If I can't surf the 'net, what else is there to do but eat??? ;)

Honestly, I did get out yesterday and go to my dad's lake house. We walked/hiked around a little, but not enough to count as real exercise. Now that the weather is looking so nice it looks like it's time to hit the walking trail again... 2008 hasn't been going so well thus far. But I've got all of you to remind me to get back to it! When I get home from my friend's place this afternoon, I have every intention of taking a walk. The day is perfect for it!

Good luck everyone, and Happy Easter! (hopefully my internet will be fixed tomorrow... But if you don't "see" me for a few days, don't get too worried.)

I'm proud of myself today... After I got home from my friend's (where I bummed the Internet), I discovered that our phones (and Internet) were back up and running! :D It was a complete surprise, as they told us they would send someone out tomorrow. I'm sure not complaining, though!

I ended up spending a bit of time on the computer, then I spent some time on the phone, and I FINALLY made myself get out there and walk. Did a 25 minute walk, then did a little bit of "weight lifting" (really it's one of those stretchy rubber bands for resistance). This is the first time in a LONG time that I've exercised. The first (re)step is the hardest... Hopefully I can keep putting one foot in front of the other! :D

THEN, for dinner I made a refreshing salad (shredded cabbage, peanuts, apple, crispy noodles, and a light homemade vinaigrette). :D I've also got the ingredients to make a pasta salad for tomorrow. This warm weather is great! I hope it stays this way. :D

SuperBob, four pounds is awesome! You beat me, you devil you! I lost 3.5 pounds this week--my biggest loss yet!

Cooker, two pounds is great too! I figure we deserve every pound we lose just for the struggle of it all.

Sumo, your pound and 4/5 is also just terrific!

Mary, I'm so glad you've joined WW. My take on the points system is kind of like Cookers; I save my 35 for the weekends when I allow myself wine on Friday and Saturday nights--2 or 3 glasses and I'm not so restrictive on the "bad" stuff: half and half in one cup of coffee on Saturday and another on Sunday, a reasonably low-fat restaurant meal on Saturday night. Nothing too wild. I admit that this past week my daughter suggested we forego 3 points a day (which puts us at 18) in an effort to jump-start our stagnant loss. It worked!

Deb, congrats on a pound; good for you, Niki, for getting out there and walking; and the clean slate's a good idea, Betty.

My stats:

Starting weight: 179 (just like you, Betty)
Last week's weight: 150.5
This week's weight: 147
Total loss: 32
This week's loss: 3.5

Good luck this week everyone!

PJ...you are sure doing us girls proud...what a fabulous result...I bet you feel fabulous too:D .

And look out everyone, all our big boys are shrinking :D ...well done fellas.

All I can say is YAHOOOOO!!!...We all seem to have a new start and a renewed umph in our Throw Down:D :D .....I am also glad to have a few fellow WW's in the TD.....strenght and information in numbers:D :D

I would like to take a minute and wish everyone a wonderful Easter....This is th time of year that many celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, myself included.....Yes, I am a Christian, not a very good one most of the time I'm afraid but I do believe....When I post that I pray and wish Godspeed for those going into surgery....I do...and I see those prayers answerd.....How could I not believe....I am surrounded by all of you....all of you miracles....

I'm hoping to keep the Easter weight off because my Avatar arrived last night. First order of business today - play! 2nd order of business - color eggs.

Thanks so much for your thoughts Cookie. I'm wishing a Happy Easter with 4 inches of snow on the ground. Don't know that I've seen that in a while!

Good morning, everyone and a Happy Easter as well! Here are my stat's for the week:

Starting weight: 182.5
Last week: 165.5
Today: 164.5

This week's loss: 1 pound
Total loss: 18 pounds (yay!!!)

It feels so good to be wearing jeans that have been sitting in my drawer because I was too fat to fit into them!!!!

I was really good about the exercise this week, walking at least 3 miles a day for five out of the past six days (one day it was pouring rain, so I begged off.....but even with all the rain, we still have a TON of snow!!!) I apparently have moved to the snowbelt of Massachusetts!!!

Again I went hiking with my brother yesterday in our old hometown north of Boston. What a treat to take these trips down memory lane!!!

Don't eat too many chocolate bunnies tomorrow!!!!

Great job Susan.....now if we can all make through the Easter meal and the candy we will doing good....I have a bag of jellybeans waiting on me.....:D :D ....I will most likely finish them off before I get to church:eek:  :D

Susan and PJ (the latest reporting in this morning) -- good going, congrats! PJ, the difference between 3 1/2 and 4 is insignificant; and besides I have a big advantage in losing weight because I have so much more to lose. :D

Anyway, our leader Cooker is right: There is a renewed energy in the Throw Down...Hooray!

Happy Easter everyone -- and Susan is right: Beware those chocolate bunnies. :) :) :)

There DOES seem to be a renewed energy... I personally credit it to the change in weather. Everyone knows that the cold and gloomy of winter equals depressed and lazy. Now that the sun is making an appearance, I can't wait to be out and active. I went walking this morning at 9:30 (got back about 10-15 minutes ago)! :D This was after a 20 minute pilates session, even. Of course, now I'm ready to go take a nap. ;) I think I'll shower instead.

Congratulations to all our losers this week! I'm hoping to be joining you in that downward trend again soon. I let the winter hit me way too hard. Time to get back to it! :D

I refuse to step on the scale this week! I don't like bad news! Join you next week!

Congratulations to all our winner, stay-the-samers and the ones who stick with it even if they've gained!:)
PJ, it was your teaming up with your daughter that made me suggest the same thing to mine. I told her how well you both were doing, and she said, "Let's go for it!"
We had our official weigh-in and first meeting this morning. I weighed at home before going, and my scales were right on with theirs, so I think my Friday weigh-in for the throw down should give me a good idea of where I will be at Saturday's WW weigh-in.
Happy Easter to all!:)

I lost three pounds or gained three

I lost three pounds or gained three

;) I went to two appoinments on Thursday. Same office building different scales. Weighted at first doctor I was at 146. Later I went downstairs, no food or drink i weighed 149. :p

SUPERBOB's rule: Always count the scale that gives the lowest reading! :p :D

Wow, you guys are doing great! Ok, this week I have stayed the same. It is OK though since I have been an active duty grandmother this week and got loads of physical activity so at least I've made some progress. PJ, I'm so jealous :D . One of these days I will catch up so watch out!

Congratulations Susan on fitting back into your skinny-jeans....wear them lots, enjoy feeling great and show off your new figure!

Well the celebration is over...I have had my jelly beans and my easter feast.... now back at it....I feel like a stuffed animal:D .....I like the other feeling better.....Hey Ref.....can I have some prune juice to detox myself from the Easter overload?????:p
