Cindy says "I don't understand....sigh..." Her weight this week is 146.3. Up 1.5 from two weeks ago, even with Weight Watchers.

Do not despair ... I have it on good authority that the humidity, gravitational pull, the offset centrifugal force of the earths rotation and evil diet wrecking forces are to blame!!! You WILL be victorious!!!

Cooker,

I feel so much better knowing what happened! ; )

I have walked my two miles and had breakfast (two 90 calorie Fiber One Bars, one banana and small glass of skim milk) ... Getting ready to get ready for work, should be a pretty easy day!

Have a great day and let us remember those who have served and fallen and those who are still keeping watch over our freedom.....

Amen, Sir Cooker -- let's remember the military folks who have served us so steadfastly and especially today those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Lots of military respect in these parts. John McCain, a former POW of some note, was grand marshal of our Memorial Day parade. :smile2:

As for Superbob, he is going to hang in here -- will be a family cookout today, but SB plans not to overdo.

Trying to comprehend what is going on with him nowadays: started b-12 monthly shots last week because of a b-12 deficiency, fall in red blood count. Ate a light lunch Sunday, then had a blood sugar crash. Did a web surf last night and found a study indicating that people who take one of my diabetes meds long-term often have a b-12 deficiency because they lose the ability to absorb the b-12. Oh great -- take one med to counteract the bad side of another med. Thinking it is time for me to find a diabetes specialist and make a whole new game plan. New meds -- or even better, no meds!

Sorry, just had to vent.

Have a great Memorial Day everyone!

Superbob has a Superplan: seek out a diabetes specialist . . . brilliant!:smile2:

Glad to read that you're walking, Cooker. Keep up the good work.:smile2:

We're headed to an afternoon movie--Hangover 2. I hear it's funny but raunchy. Sounds good to me.:wink2:

Sticking with my exercise but the summer fresh produce sabotaged yesterday's eating ... a fresh strawberry pie with real whipped cream :eek2: ... was it worth it? ... you bet your booty:biggrin2:

Not as much a no-brainer as it seems: none of my GPs (and there have been several since we lived in Northern Virginia) has thought to refer me to an endocrinologist. They seem to think they can manage diabetes perfectly well themselves. Don't seem to think the same way about heart issues -- they wouldn't presume to substitute for a cardiologist.
