Good going chimp! I need to be following in your simian ways. Going for a long scheduled doc appointment and not wanting to. He won't like it that I haven't exercised much nor lost weight since my previous appointment. Bleh.

Wise, hope the doc visit goes well and don't let him give you to much pooh ... we pay them:biggrin2:

Today is a great time to start on your plan ... everyday is a new start .... Hugs to Cindy:smile2:

Just got of the phone with the incognito power that rules and was instructed to start the "Race To Labor Day" with next weeks weigh in ... I wanted to start with my post vacation weight but was flatly denied that advantage ... A Chimp can never get a break:rolleyes2:

Anyway, we will start next week with individual competition and end with whatever weight we post on the Friday thread prior to 9-5-11 ... If you want to wait until Labor Day Monday to post your race weight that's OK. Good luck and good losing!!!!

To clarify . . . this week's weigh in, Friday the 29th, will be our starting point? Yes, that's what I thought.:wink2:
The last weigh in for the race will be Friday, Sept. 2?
Guess we're going solo?

Yes I vote solo ... Lone Chimp rides again!!!! .... Hi Ho Chimp and Away!!!:tongue2:

HA! I was down 3 pounds from the last doc appointment and he didn't even mention exercise. My blood pressure was perfect even. He wants me to go on homocysteine for a month and then test my blood sugar. Maybe I can make myself exercise between now and then; that would certainly help.

Today's food so far is a banana for breakfast, with coffee. Had a bowl of rice with rice milk and sugar this afternoon. I was just not very hungry earlier. Oh, I had some grapes before the rice.

Rice Krispies or rice???? :confused2:

Breakfast: banana, strawberries, cherries and a 90 calorie fiber one bar.
Lupper (lunch and supper) : Greek salad with chicken

I feel the weight falling off:thumbup:

White rice. It's really a breakfast item, or at least it was in my family when I was growing up. I never had rice any other way until I was an adult. Rice, sugar, butter and milk...yum yum. I had rice milk because I can't have regular milk.

Tonight we're having a salad with chicken, tomato, onion, bacon and cooked egg yolk. I'm having the egg yolk because doc told me I could today. Egg whites are a no no for me.

Cooker, you had a really good food day. Will you have fruit as a snack later? If I have "lupper" I find myself wanting something later.

Hi guys - sorry I've disappeared it has nothing to do with my fellow throwdowners - glad to see y'all are still here. A lot of comfort in that for me. I don't even have time to read the posts right now -I just wanted to stick my nose in and say Hi. I'll try to catch-up soon. Work is kicking my butt!. I think maybe I've lost 1 lb since our 4th of July race - but not throwing in the towel. Hang in everybody!!

Hi Everyone, especially the Chimp upon his return from adventure

Have to report that yesterday rode my bicycle for 4 hrs on a trip that went 68 km. The monitor reported I burned off 3100 kcal on the endevour.

On the other hand what went in yesterday was 2 pc toast and peanut butter, 4 coffee - 2 cream half sugar, 1 donut, 1 muffin, 2 peaches (fresh without the cobbler to go with it) 1 BLT sandwich, 3 litres water, 500ml chocolate milk AND 2 Wendy's double burgers with cheese and bacon.

I was doing ok until Wendy beckoned. Pretty sure the intake exceeds the outtake after that. Excesses on both ends eh?
Side note to my heart rate, it averaged 94 bpm, on last long run 1 mth ago average was 105 bpm. My heart rate has definatly lowered itself...good thing but it worries me ...Doctor visit pending.

After yesterday I think I'll wait till Friday morning to find out if there is a lose or gain. Off on another bike ride - shorter one today.

Bob
