It is good to have a competent cardio for sure, SB. However, us throwdowners want the credit whether it is warranted or not... ; ) because we might be able to bank the credit toward pounds lost in the current race...hehe.

Good point! I'll work on a formula to convert a 5.4 cm to 3.9 cm aortic reduction into a kilograms weight reduction equivalent and then convert that to pounds and that will be my Labor Day "sprint" result. ;)

LOL, I will have that scone when I can find a cranberry-orange one. They seem to be rare in the Palmetto State.

I had a call from the sweet nurse in my GP's office to go over the echo results with me (I had already picked up a copy from the cardio's office). She excitedly told me that the dimension of my aortic root had dropped from 5.4 cm to 3.9 cm. I told her that was because the previous cardio and tech had been measuring it incorrectly, and she said, no, no it was the result of my good exercise and diet. LOL. Thanks to vr.org, I know that no amount of exercise or good nutrition is going to shrink an enlarged root/aneurysm (go ahead, Bina, here's an opening for a naughty joke :tongue2: ) but anyway, bottom line, I am thankful I finally have found a competent cardio and tech to do the vital measurements correctly. If the GP nurse wants to offer me love (figuratively of course) for my healthy, um, shrinkage, I will accept that.;)
;) Only on vr.org do men publicly share news of "shrinkage" with such excitement and enthusiasm. ;)
Carry on, big boy.

Wise, glad you have someone you like ... I think that's super important ... as far as exercise goes I'm not walking either, hot hot hot and I'm just not going to do it ... maybe when Sherry goes back to work I can go early in the morning ... one thing though, I really expected to see you in a triathlon this year:wink2:

I have to admit that my expectations of your expectations were rather low. Me competing in a triathlon is on par with Betty White winning the Miss USA pageant. Actually, she stands a better chance at doing that..hehe.

HA AHA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA ..... Thanks for the laugh!!!!!
