Scoff all you want Mr Chimp - We girls can take it! Rules are Rules. Glad to have you on board NNGBWH - even if you are a guy! All comers are welcome in the Great Pumpkin Race.

I will get that spreadsheet together soon- because so far it appears the girls are kicking guy butt! I had a really good week (remember I beefed up for the start). I've been an : Thank goodness I have no DH trying to sabotage me with a Hershey's bar!

My loss for the girl's side this week 5.8 lbs!! Now I've gotten rid of all my fluid retention so it'll be a little slow going from now on.... but my ploy worked! Yes Mr. Chimp, I have tricks up my sleeve too!

This Week: 197.8
Last Week : 203.6
Loss: 5.8

Really good job SB :p (she says grudgingly) That exercising is paying off. We gals are just going to have to out exercise you. That coming from one who hasn't done anything but sit in an office chair in front of a computer all week. Work is killing me!! You did OK too Cooker - considering it sounds like you ate your way through most of last week! I loved all the friendly banter last week - just now had a chance to read it all. Nothing like a good competition to get the words a flyin'.

Keep it up girls ! The Great Pumpkin Race is now in Full Swing!! Later losers! :cool2:

My weigh in is Sunday. Feeling pretty good about it. I have been photographing weddings and believe it or not that is alot of walking running and sweating. I'm exhausted.

Wow, a loss of 5.8 in a week! -- that is impressive, Rhena. Congrats!

We don't want to let the first week's progress of you gals go uncelebrated, so here are some rewards from the Candy Warehouse for you sweeties to enjoy early and often between now and Halloween:

http://www.candywarehouse.com/minichocolates.html ;);) Go ahead, enjoy! You angels deserve it!

Sweets for the sweet! :D

Pssst, guys, remember, slow and steady wins the race, one pound a week between now and Halloween should bring us victory.

That's our Superhero ... always thinking of others:biggrin2: ... I'm proud to know you, SuperBob!

Well, a little extra food this week ultimately resulted in me not losing any weight. I lost .1 lbs., so that's a wash. Cindy lost .4 lbs., so that's in the right direction, if you're a girl!

Rhena, what a terrific start to the Great Pumpkin Race!;););)
Cindy, glad to see you tripled Wise's loss.:thumbup:

I'm a little worried about Ghon's (Geckley) weigh in tomorrow. :confused2:Guess we'll just wait and see.:cool2:

We went to the Beacon Drive In in Spartanburg SC yesterday ... It was featured on the food channel's, Diners, Dive-ins and Dives ... lets just say it will "change your oil" ... then we drove up scenic highway 11 to Cooley's Peach, Blackberry, Strawberry Farm ... of course we had to buy some bread and jams an jellies ... not to mention ho-made blackberry and peach ice cream:biggrin2::biggrin2:
