Hi Everyone! Oh my the yo-yo! Last week 212 one day, 210 2 days later. This week 213 yesterday, today 210. Maybe the HUGE smoked meat sandwich I had with Greg thursday finally worked its way through. Who knows whats going on cept I can see my weight loss mirrors the emotional ups and downs I've been experiencing this week. Tuesday I was at my Dermitologist, alls well, the pre-cancerous tissue burned off my face with liquid nitrogen- years of working outside in the sun has taken its toll and its part of manageing myself by having these things checked for the worse regularly. I do wear sunscreen 50spf now, no need for wacking. Anyway his scale said 204 with my clothes on, I like his scale better. Is the weight loss sprint counting the cumulative total weight loss in the up down cycle I'm in? Even though I'm 210, I have lost 5lb in the last week. Naw, I'm just spinning my wheels. Back to the bicycle, upped my speed, endurance and distance and the heart is handling it. Average speed is 21km/hr now, I keep my heart rate 114-118 for as long as possible, and distance is 25-40km when I'm training 3-5 days per week. Before average speed 17 km/hr, heart rate 108-112, distance 20-35km. Top heart rate limit is now set at 123 bpm instead of 116.

Take care of yourselves

Bob

The Chimp has become delusional! He probably thinks his football Gamecocks are going undefeated this fall, too -- bah!:p

I love to see the Chimp and the Man of Steel go at it. Since I have only a few days left to lose a lot to even be in the running - I'll just have to settle for watching these two macho guys fight it out! Go guys! :p

I may be a bit feverish but not delusional ... Gamecocks will not go undefeated but they will have a big "W" chalked up when they play the Vols ... as far as the Labor Day Sprint, no contest:tongue2:

Okay, The Chimp wins the trash talking contest -- Superbob will let him have that -- but NOT the Throwdown. The Chimp doesn't know what's about to hit him.

All right, when is the final weigh-in for this Labor Day sprint? This Friday? Superbob is tanned, rested, and ready -- ready to whip The Chimp and then enjoy a celebratory scone. :p:thumbup:

This Friday is the day!!! .... I will start the thread Thursday but weigh Friday morning ... I'm weak with hunger:rolleyes2:

Poor Chimp doesn't realize that Bina has become Superbob's nutritional inspiration (think yogurt and fruit) and Duffey his exercise motivator (think aquatics). Today Superbob has had an hour pool workout sandwiched between two Superdawg walks. He has eaten a small amount of lean meat on rice, with squash and collard greens as sides. A no-sugar-added fruit cup for dessert. And just to taunt The Chimp, a banana for a snack.

Maybe The Chimp can enlist the Texas girls -- getting mighty late in the game though, Mr. Chimp. Be skeered, be very skeered. :p

Superbob was doing great -- then he found himself in the middle of the night eating peanut butter from the jar by the spoonful, along with Appalachian trail mix --- why, why, why? :redface2: Okay, Chimp, Superbob's numbers will still look good -- he's working off all those calories today...!

Sounds like the perfect night time snack ... I almost took a nose dive yesterday ... I was craving sweets like a crazed maniac ... settled for some yogurt and a Fiber One bar:mad2: ... would have rather had the peanut butter:smile2:
