Well if hot chicks help melt the pounds away - I'm going to go looking for a place with lots of hot lookin' dudes!!;)

Not wanting to mess up the order of the universe - I'll post here some stuff from what I just read on last weeks thread. First off - that was quite a trip you took Cooker - did you catch anything? (that swims I mean!). I want to congratulate you on starting on WW. It is a good program and it looks to me like next week you'll be back under 200 if you stick to it as you are determined to do. I'm trying to get back there myself. Why do we sabotage ourselves this way. Yo-yoing is definitely not the way to go.

I also think we are two peas in a pod when it comes to dieting. I'm either very very good or very very bad. There is no middle ground. I can't have just one cookie - I have to consume mass quantaties. I shouldn't have used the 'd' word. WW says it isn't a diet - it is a lifestyle!

I'll report in tomorrow. I think I'll be about the same as the week before... I'm seeing a pattern here. Given how much I was up after the weekend - I'll be happy with that.

Manyana :cool2:

Good luck and the peas in a pod thing ... I agree ... If I open it, I eat it, all of it:rolleyes2:

Since this has become a Spanish thread, I will admit that tonight I feel like El Puerco. I am also a little bit of a pollo about those scales too. :rolleyes2::frown2::redface2:

Superbob knows that Duffey (the Ref), The Chimp (Yo-Yo Queen), and millions of others are waiting, but he has deferred his weigh-in to Saturday morning in order to do another intense workout this afternoon. Every ounce counts. More bounce to the ounce.

Ok, I'll weigh in tomorrow too.

Great job, Cooker! Keep up the good work!:smile2:

I'm not chicken like some people who shall remain nameless. I dutifully got on the scales and lo and behold, Saints be praised! I am down 1.6 lbs. from last week. Even more than that from Monday after the weekend binge. Hope the rest of y'all get good results by sweating it out one more day! I will be back to check on you!!! :p Now comes the tough part for me... staying focused and on track on the weekend. I tend to undo all the good I did during the week on the weekends.... I'm still up from what I weighed on St. Patty's day - but I'm still here and still trying!

Good job Rhena! ... I love it when I don't expect a loss and get one, the flip side of that coin is when I expect a loss and stay the same or even worse gain, it drives me nuts (no comment) ... I am just barely below the 200 mark at 199.5 this morning ... pants still snug, no "V" cut, no six pack abs ... LOL, not ever expecting the "V" cut or six pack abs but looking to the day when I can put on one size smaller pants with ease ... I suspect I will always suck in my stomach when the opposite sex walks by, been doing it my entire life, I think it's called muscle memory reflex:biggrin2:

Gee whiz. I get to be the person who reports a gain . . . what an honor!
Seriously, good job Rhena, Cooker, and SB.
I'm back up the 1.5 pound I lost two weeks ago.
157.5
159.0
I need to tell myself to stop competing for Yo-Yo queen title and go for biggest loser.
I'll put that on my list of things to do list.

Good going Cooker, Superbob and Rhena. I know how it feels to have a good week. Duffey, I also know how it feels to have a not so good week. Cindy and I again did not weigh at WW. I had to find a time to mow the grass and this morning was it. I am zapped and the heat is so oppressive outside that just taking the dogs out is a big deal. So, I guess I'm taking an unofficial mulligan. I have no choice but to get back up and go on with what I know is right.

Cooker, I think somewhere underneath this layer of fat I may have a 3 pack at least! I'm a suck in my stomach gal too. In some pictures I've sucked it in so much my eyes are about to pop out! :D I'm with you about the scales being finicky - forget 'em - and just get to where you are healthy and comfortable with yourself and how you feel in your own skin/clothes.

Thanks throwdowners for your encouraging words. Good to hear - but now I must say 'Forgive me Throwdowners for I have sinned'. Went to a great party this evening with really nice people and great food. I ate too much and I'll leave it at that. It was fortuitious though because a friend I hadn't seen in awhile was there and I knew he was a nurse but didn't know he was a cardiac care nurse so we had a good discussion about surgeons in town and he gave a big thumbs up to the one I was considering. The word is that the cardiac surgeons in town would go to him if they ever had to have surgery. Good to find out someone I know and trust is in the cardiac care business and I didn't even know it.

Congrats SB on the loss - perhaps it was that extra exercise watching bikini clad hotties walk by. I would defer to the ref always - but Wise I say you and Cindy have a mulligan this week, but you better show up next week or I'll sic the ref on you. Mary hang in there - you know it'll go back down.

I think someone may be delusional thinking the SEC can outdo the Loghorns and the Big 12 (or however many it ends up being..) :p Ok well I have to give it to you on baseball.....

Tomorrow is float in the pool day. I'm going to be good this time - no margaritas, just diet coke.

Later losers - keep on doing your best! :cool2:

That's a great way to get the real "scoop" on surgeons and docs in general, Rhena. It's great that yours gets the top rating from the insiders....should give you lots of confidence....

Superbob now has the grandkid from Virginia visiting so he is making Pop-Pop pancakes in shifts this morning for all his grandkiddies. Means SB is eating twice as many test flapjacks as usual. But first Superbob had to make clear during Cardinals/Cubs game last night that there will be NO rooting for the Cubs in Pop-Pop's domain -- only the Redbirds of St. Louis! Once we got that straight, the pancakes could roll.:D

How many grandkids does SB have? You never answered me as to whether you would adopt me as one... I am an orphain the Paw Paw dept. and those pancakse sound killer good. A Cardinals fan huh? I can live with that!

980.jpg .... I'M HUNGRY:eek2:
