Greeting form the land of the 2010 College Baseball World Series Champs ... Way to go Gamecocks!!! ... I have had my own victory this week ... by sticking with high fiber, NO processed sugar, some exercise and staying within my WW point range I have dropped 6.5 pounds:biggrin2: ... I have had a day or two when I almost caved to the call of banana pudding or frozen Snicker ice cream bar(s) but I stayed the course ... my ultimate goal is 175-180 so I have a way to go but at least I'm back on track and headed downhill ... Having the hottest June on record here has help too:eek2:

Hope everyone is well and has had a great week ... I'm planning on a hamburger and hot dog on the 4th but NO sugar ...

Starting Weight: 233
Last Week: 204
This Week: 197.5

I knew you'd dump a bunch of pounds before long. Great job chimpster! You are doing better than me at the sugar thing, for sure.

Yikes! He's baaaaaaaaaaaaack!!! The Incredible Shrinking Chimp!:eek::eek::p

Methinks The Chimp has been into the stash of prune juice and spiked his banana pudding with it. :p

Either that, or he has emulated USC Gamecocks' pitcher Blake Cooper and whittled off 15 pounds as a prelude to mowing down batters from Left Coast baseball teams. :D

Okay, whatever, congrats Mr. Chimp: 6.5 in one week is quite an accomplishment.

As for Superbob, he has just for the umpteenth straight day cooked up Pop-Pop Pancakes for the grand urchins as well as Superdawg. Speaking of Superdawg, she seems to have retired as SB's personal trainer, at least until the weather turns less harsh. SB is wondering if he should bring back the trainer he used to feature in his avatar. If you see her, that will be a sign. ;)

Superbob will step on the scales with considerable trepidation tomorrow morn.

Cooker is the chimp to beat this week and it won't be me doing it! Back under 200! Doens't that feel good. I'm teetering on the brink - depending on the moment. I am so tired I am resisting the urge to pick up something bad for dinner, but I have my official weigh day tomorrow so why sabotage myself? I'm going to try and be strong. In the spirit of good sportsmanship Congrats to the Gamecocks. The Longhorns blew their chance this year.:mad2:

I'll be checking back in tomorrow with the news - good or bad!

I'm in the same place as last week. Not where I'd like to be, but no worse.

It doesn't help that I'm self-medicating any mild pre-surgical anxiety with chocolate during the day, and a glass of wine with dinner every night. It doesn't take many extra calories to keep me from losing weight.

I do wish we didn't keep so much chocolate at the office.

I think I need to start weighing in on Thursday mornings... Thursdays are our crazy busy days that frequently result in eating fast food, which means that Friday morning I'm carrying water weight. So I'm the exact same weight as last week. But YESTERDAY morning I was down two pounds. *sigh*

Going to the mall with the twins today (meeting up with some other twin moms). Hopefully we'll get a little walking in along with the chatting! LOL

I can not tell a lie . . . I have not stepped on the scale this week. :eek:I meant to this morning, but I headed to the grocery store early, early and forgot once I got home. Doggone, guess I'll have to wait until Next week to report in.;););)
Congratulations, Chimpie. :)Don't forget, you've got vacation coming up, so get your willpower ready now.:)

Duffey, I wish I hadn't stepped on the scale either. In all honesty, I knew today wouldn't be good. I did not have a blow out week or anything, but I had a little too much here and a little too much there. Then yesterday at work I had a Gigi's cupcake (the Wedding Cake flavor). If you're a icing lover, then you loved them; if it's not the icing you adore, then make your own. ; )

So, in the keeping it real and honest category, Cindy and I do not have time to go to our WW meeting this morning. We have a birthday breakfast with her mom (she's 86 today). We have a family reunion with my mom. Cindy then has another birthday dinner with her mom and Cindy's son & wife. It's the day of the Food That Ate Kentucky horror flick I'm afraid. Anyway, back to reality in weight. I weighed at home, which is generally a half pound higher than WW. I am up 1.8 pounds this week. That puts me at a loss of 11.8 in the Race to the RWB. Superbob here is your chance to catch me! Cindy isn't weighing, for she also had a cupcake which I brought home for her.

Unless The Chimp is chugging prune juice nonstop during the holiday, the Kentucky Flash was won the Great Race for the Red, White, and Blue. The controlling authority of The Throwdown will have to decide what an appropriate prize is. :D

Superbob thinks he is about the same this week as last, weight-wise. Hectic mornings have kept him from shedding cape and getting on the scales. On ridiculously hot days have been going to workout room. This morning, a sparkling day with low humidity and temps in 80s instead of 90s, got Superdawg back on walking trail. Felt good.

I almost always weigh on Thursday that way when weekend temptations strike and I cave I have time to recover ... all in all Nikki I think it's the way to go ....

Thanks ... I don't plan on an eating vacation but I also will not deny myself any local treats I may encounter ... you are here by awarded a mulligan for this week ....

Wise, I gain 1.8 just walking to the kitchen and as for Cindy, where's my cupcake!?

On my honorable word as TheChimp no prune juice was used or will be in the future ... I have found the Raisin Bran with two scoop of Metamucil works much better:biggrin2: ... three bowls a day:eek2:
