It's nice to be able to start this thread with a positive report ... not sure if it has been seven or eight weeks without nicotine gum but I am pretty sure the oral cravings are gone and I have my eating for the most part under control ... down 3.5 this week:thumbup:

I am walk-jogging (walk a bit, jog a bit) almost everyday and it will not be long before I am jog-walking (jogging more than walking) ... I am doing 2 miles (3.2 KM) ... my goal is 3.1 miles or 5 KM ... by fall I want to enter one of the local 5K charity runs ... not even thinking about being competative just want to be in the game!!!!

Hope everyone has had a great week and doing well:smile2:

RW&B Starting Weight: 202
Today's Weight: 214
This Week: 210.5

Great job Cooker! Sounds like you may have found your exercise niche.

Cindy will weigh on Saturday. Here's my report for the week:

WISE:

Starting Weight: 183
Last Week: 179.3
This Week: 178
Weekly Change: -1.3
Loss for RW&B: 5

I still haven't joined Cooker and SB in the daily walking or walking/jogging routine, like I promised on Facebook, but I'm hoping to motivate in that direction soon.

Okay, Superbob appears to be down some fractional amount for the week -- less than 1/2 pound; best counted as "stayed the same." At some point, SB is going to have to go back and compute his RW&B numbers -- think it's down a few but SB looks like an also-ran right now.:smile2: Rest of you are so exact with your weights -- of course SB's exact weight is a closely guarded secret since his weight approximates that of an NFL lineman (NFL -- what's that? Pro football season -- maybe not. :mad2: )

SB, a loss is still a loss ; )

Yeah, and I have to go back and scrounge around in earlier threads to find my starting weight or what I weighed the week before, etc. If it weren't already recorded, I'd be in trouble.

Congrats to Cooker and Wise!:smile2:
If I weigh this week, it will be tomorrow. Heat, humidity and chocolate birthday cake have wrecked havoc with last week's loss.:eek2:
We're suppose to hit 97 tomorrow so no outside exercise for me.

Bob ... as Wise said, down is down ... Try riding on "The Cooker Express", up and down up and down up and up an up and down ... I hope this cycle has been broken!

So my weight is still the same 163. I don't know what the deal is but happy I am not gaining.

Good job Cooker, Wise , Captain Bob and stay cool lady gaga.

Well, YESTERDAY I was at 136.7. Then we went out to dinner and CW dancing. Today I'm 138.4. Must be all the beer. Oh, I had 1 bottle. Then all that dessert - oops, didn't have any of that. Just a small steak, plain salad (no dressing) and a baked potato, no salt on anything. Go figure.

I was wayyyy tired this morning, but I got on the elliptical anyway, and just came back from my noon walk. Jet and I will work agility this evening, because we skipped Monday--J strained her shoulder a tad and needed a few days of rest, but she's back to bouncing off the walls again.

Another day in paradise, now back to the grindstone.

I'm up 2 pounds. I'm sure the Memorial Day week-end and my birthday contributed to the gain. C'est la vie!

Last week: 154.5
This week: 156.5
Up a half pound for the Race to the Red, White, and Blue

I forgot to mention that Cooker suffered a power loss so had no computer this morning with which to post to VR.

Hopefully he'll have juice by this afternoon or night. It gets mighty hot in South Carolina without air conditioning, doesn't it Superbob?

Good going Laurie! Duffey, you get a pass for your birthday and the fact that your tight with the former Ref.

Here's Cindy's report for this week:

CINDY:

Starting Weight: 149.9
Last Week: 146.3
This Week: 144.5
Weekly Change: -1.8
Loss for RW&B: 5.4

Good going Cindy!

It's your birthday week!!! If you only gain 2 pounds on a birthday week you are a miracle worker:thumbup::biggrin2:
