This time of year, I like the zucchini, squash, and onions that DW fries up in a big ol' skillet with a slab of bacon. Not sure how the health police grade this, but Superbob gives it an A-plus.
I usually get my seafood broiled, but I have found a place that lightly breads fresh flounder, fries it up, and puts it in a sandwich with lettuce and tomato -- yum!
&*&%^$ the health police ... many of the summer wonders are best fried and it may be even a sin to steam them... you ain't never heard of steamed green tomatoes have you?:eek2:
