Food fights are permitted on the Throwdown (encouraged, even). However, the stuff being thrown by The Chimp and Bina is another matter. :p

SB hogged into an Italian eatery this afternoon, and it will be at least a week before he dares get on scales again. Even had one of those super-sweet cappucino-type desserts...At least we dodged the Krispy Kreme factory on the way home (which DW, the Sweet-Tooth Queen, had hinted she wanted to visit)

Good job - Wise!! Your are an inspiration - if one were to get inspired anyway.:p Tell Cindy to hang in. I better watch myself in Europe or those new jeans won't fit me at the end of the trip.:D ! At least the Euro is down against the dollar - even if as a result the DJI took a tumble. That should save me a few bucks.

I missed the food fight!!! I hope the cake won and it was worth the 35 points! :p

I may be hit and miss for a couple of weeks - but I'll be back...! Everyone keep up the good work.

I have rallied and am in the beginning of a downward spiral ... with the help of TheChimps secret banana shake and lots of fresh fruits and veggies the scales are not so frightening ... :cool2:

With all these exotic banana concoctions, The Chimp must have phenomenal potassium levels.

Go bananas, Chimpster, go bananas! :p

I'm glad there's progress being made around here. It hasn't been made by me this week. How do you spell "blew it". It is spelled "m-u-l-l-i-g-a-n."

All right, Throwdowners -- get excited ... tomorrow begins another weigh-in in the Great RWB Race. Rely not on those magic potions peddled by the Chimpster. Get that exercise in. Eat your fresh fruit and veggies and lean protein. Superbob has SPOKEN!

Duffey, I'm so glad we didn't have company this week. We were already primed; didn't need someone to show up to help pump up our weight.

That said, I am much better off than I thought. IF the scale isn't lying I may hold my own this week. I had a doctor's appointment this morning and I am now off of my blood pressure medicine (Lisinopril) and am very happy about that. I asked Dr. Jonsson to help me set a WW goal weight. For my height, WW has a max weight of 155 that I can set as a goal. I wanted it closer to 160. Dr. Jonsson agreed that it should be 160-165, so he gave me a signed statement with a goal weight of 165. That boils down to about 6 pounds away from my goal. So, I'm not so down on myself about the Italian Cream Cake (or crack cake), the large fish sandwich with fries & hushpuppies, Home Run double burger (with pepper cheese & mushrooms), Brewster Ice Cream (cone with a scoop of Toffee Bar and a scoop of Double Chocolate Chunk), an individual cracker crust Italian Pizza (at a good Irish Pub), McDonald's McDouble with fries, and finally a serving of Beef Cashew Din from the best Chinese restaurant in this region, China Wok. So, as you can see, to be trending toward even staying the same is at least a small miracle. Woohoo!

Hmmmm, is that one day's menu, Kentucky Flash? :p If so, sounds good.

Congrats on getting rid of a med (lisinopril). I have a doc's appointment next week too and I'm at least going to bring up the subject of thinning out the small pharmacy of prescriptions for me. It's been explained to me, though, that they like to keep my bp nice and low to preserve the piggy tick-tocker. I'm in favor of that.

Congrats on negotiating a doable weight with the doc. Not sure I want to risk going that route with my doc.

As for Duffey, Superbob is not accepting any excuses from the Yo-Yo Queen. :p:p:p

Superbob, It took me three days to eat all of that food, Saturday through Monday. I am in recovery mode, but only up less than a pound from last Saturday morning. How that happened is a mystery, since I haven't had any special concoctions of elimination.
